Introducing my awesome new book on natural hair care!
For years I’ve contemplated several book ideas, when it finally occurred to me that my first book should be something inspirational and very personal. The idea to write If You Love It, It Will Grow came to me after I received numerous features on many popular natural hair blogs. In these features, I was asked to share my thoughts on natural hair as well as personal haircare tips. As someone’s who’s been natural for many years, I was of course happy to share my thoughts and expertise. Then to my surprise, I, or more specifically my hair, suddenly became quite the conversation piece on numerous Tumblrs, Facebook fan pages and personal blogs. I was also getting contacted by tons of women that wanted to know more about my hair story. Overnight I was dubbed the ‘hair inspiration” for so many brown-skin women like myself. It was so unexpected, yet so heart-warming to know that I was inspiring so many women to love their natural hair. And it was this experience that subsequently inspired me to write my first book on natural hair care. I’d best describe my book as “an autobiography of my hair journey.” It’ll make you laugh, it will make you fall in love with your hair, and you’ll walk away with tons of great hair care advice, as well as my personal hair care regimen.
