Dr. Phoenyx’s Berry Beautyful Smoothie
1 serving of Beauty Protein (1 scoop)
1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
2 cups raw baby spinach leaves
¾ cup strawberries (frozen)
½ cup blueberries (frozen)
2-3 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
Preparation: Put all ingredients in blender. Mix thoroughly. Drink and enjoy!
*Recipe Tip: When making smoothies, try buying your fresh fruit and greens in bulk from the grocery store or the farmer’s market. After you get home, separate the fruit and greens into smaller freezer safe bags, and when ready just use these frozen fruit and greens to make your smoothies. Freezing the berries and greens beforehand will give this smoothie recipe and your tastes buds a more refreshing kick. Also, freezing your fruit and greens ahead of time will help to preserve freshness longer than when stored in the frig.
