Wonderful Hair Oil! I have very thin, dry and color treated hair. What impressed me most about this oil was that it was not greasy at all. It doesn’t weigh down my hair like the other oils I’ve tried in the past. I really like the smell, too. I thought that having peppermint in the blend would be overpowering, but it’s a nice light, clean scent. Using it as a hand moisturizer, too. Love it!

I love this hair oil! I got this oil after reading a review on Amazon and I’m glad I gave it a shot. The oil itself is very light, smells really nice and doesn’t build up on my hair at all which is perfect because when I workout my hair gets really sweaty and heavy oils just don’t work for me because of this. Also, I love the this oil makes my scalp feel too, just slightly tingly/clean and I use it almost daily to massage my scalp. Sometimes I also use on my hair for shine, but I mostly like using on my scalp to promote healthy hair growth.

I really like this hair oil. I was afraid it would make my hair greasy/oily since it already has a tendency to get greasy/oily. I can say that it didn’t add anymore than I already get. Yay! And it seriously smells and feels so good. When I spray it, the stream is pretty strong so it penetrates my behemoth of hair and actually gets down to my scalp. I like to let it drip down a bit so I can get the tingly feeling (i think from the peppermint oil) then massage it in. Smells so good. Definitely didn’t mind falling asleep and smelling it all night. 🙂

Not sure if it’s due to working out more, the Dr. Phoenyx’s Vitamins or a combination of all three, but my hair has been growing like wild fire. Well not really but enough to where once my hair gets done it’s noticeable that I have extra length so that’s cool. Also it doesn’t hurt that it smells really good, and isn’t really oily so you won’t feel like you’re going to get this all on your satin pillowcase, it absorbs fantastically.

The directions say to apply to damp hair, but I do damp and also to dry hair especially with all of these Nor’easters. ..I just apply before I leave out for the day and I am good to go. In mere days, Dr. Phoenyx’ Scalp Oil helped me clear up a localized, persistent scalp irritation caused by a saline solution I used on new ear piercings in my left ear. Bonus, it works great on moisturizing the dry ends my long, baby-fine hair inevitably develops in winter (see cold air; dry, indoor central heat; hot showers; repeat) and from repeated highlighting. I particularly appreciate how light this oil is: the main ingredient is coconut oil, which is great for moisturizing hair/scalp, but can be too thick on its own to use on fine hair. However, Dr. Phoenyx’ Hair Oil is super light and a little goes a long way (the bottle is 2oz and I have more than 3/4 of a bottle left heading into month 2 of frequent use). Application of this oil is easy; I do not find that it stains my pillowcase if I use it before I hit the hay. I think there are all of 9 ingredients in the whole formula, and most are essential and natural oils (Vitamin E is the final ingredient). I have ridiculously sensitive/reactive skin and this oil doesn’t break or rash me out. It smells pretty good – definitely not overpowering – but I can pick up whiffs of the tea tree, orange, and particularly peppermint oils as I massage it into my scalp. It’s an amazing leave-in conditioner, too: I just run a 2-3 small pumps through my hair at night and I wake up with no frizz and soft, shiny tresses. I also use it as a cuticle moisturizer by rubbing the excess oil on my palms into my nails (where its quickly absorbed) after applying the formula as indicated. I’m happy to relay that Dr. Phoenyx’ scalp oil delivers as promised and then some!

I live in area where Winter loves to hang on. This product has been a life-saver. I’ve had issues with dry hair and scalp as well as an oily scalp, giving me acne around my hairline, from constantly wearing a hat to keep warm. This product has solved all my problems. The natural oils like the jojoba and coconut with their vitamin E has really moisturized my hair and I love the all-natural fact as I have sensitive skin, even on my scalp, and have to be careful about what products I use. I also love the tea tree oil in this product it’s definitely helped with eliminating the acne around my hairline and the invigorating tingle reminds me of products I’ve experienced during spa visits.
