With Mother’s Day right around the corner, I wanted to share 6 self-care tips that all women can use to improve our overall health and happiness. Because even if you aren’t a mom yourself, it’s still very important that all women learn to incorporate self-care into our lifestyles. That said, this Mother’s Day take a moment to show your mom lots of love and appreciation for all she has done. And mind you, your gesture of appreciation doesn’t have to be super extravagant. Make Mother’s Day about what your mom enjoys, and what brings her greater health and happiness. In fact, you may be pleasantly surprised at how the most simple, small, and thoughtful gesture can leave an even more lasting impression on your mom. For example, I’ll be taking my mom to pick blueberries this Mother’s Day weekend because that’s one of her favorite things to do this time of year – and it always makes me chuckle at how absolutely giddy and child-like my mom gets when blueberry picking season rolls around. What can I say: My mom is a simple woman who loves blueberries – especially in her smoothies! 😊
