Welcome back ladies! Today we’re talking calories, weight loss, and I’m answering a very popular question: How many calories should I eat to lose weight?
Check out the video below where I break things down (FYI, counting calories to lose weight is super simple!) and directly underneath the video below you’ll also find a handy little calorie counter (which I mention in the video) that you can use to help determine the amount of calories you would need to eat to lose weight, stay the same weight you are now, or even gain weight if that’s your desired goal.
Now keep in mind that this calorie calculator – while very useful – is only providing an estimate of calories. So if you’re trying to lose weight, definitely feel free to use this calorie counter as a tool but don’t take the numbers as 100% exact.
Bottom line ladies, if you are trying to lose weight, you must burn more calories than you eat. You can do this through 3 methods: 1) diet, 2) exercise, or 3) a combination of the two. And overall, my stance is that the best way to lose weight and keep it off long term is make healthy changes in our diet that reduce overall calorie intake while also adding in regular exercise to further increase calorie burn during the day.
